Georgia's Behavioral Health Services Coalition will join with behavioral health peers and allies at the Georgia State Capitol to advocate for more high quality, evidence-based, culturally-sensitive behavioral health supports, services, and treatments for all Georgians.

We will spend the morning hearing from Georgia’s mental health peers and leaders, and learn about the opportunities and challenges facing us in 2023. We will move to the Capitol building at 11, where we will meet with our elected officials to share our hopes and voice our concerns for Georgia's future.

The Behavioral Health Services Coalition is a public/private mental health collaboration of individuals and organizations across Georgia which educates and shares information among our members, the public, and policy-makers; and, coordinates advocacy for mental health recovery. We believe the mental health of all Georgians is assured by the enhancement of protective factors, the reduction of risk factors, and early intervention at the first sign of symptoms. All Georgians who need mental health care benefit from high quality, evidence-based, culturally-sensitive supports, services, and treatment.
