Respect In Recovery

5k Walk/Race

Please join Georgia’s recovery community in Atlanta’s Grant Park on Friday, October 11th for the 4th annual Respect In Recovery 5K Walk/Race: Removing Hurdles and Raising Hope.

The Georgia Mental Health Consumer Network is pleased to be a part of this inter-agency partnership to promote mental health, highlight Georgia’s successful re-entry programs, and celebrate the successes of those in recovery.

Stigma creates barriers for everyone who experiences behavioral health concerns, and this event provides all Georgians the opportunity to walk in solidarity with the behavioral health community to say that we can and do recover.

Through increased community awareness and education, individuals are better able to overcome hurdles encountered in recovery, and your support and participation at this important event will assist in changing lives, families, and communities.

We hope you will join us.
