Hope to all that are Hurting

Time has passed and I feel good,

More alive than I can imagine;

There’s a solution to every road,

When you keep on trying to reach your goals.

Life is tough and being a Christian is so hard,

But beneath it all “It is doable”

Sometimes we fall but we keep on pushing on and on.

Sometimes the bumps we face,

It’s so hard to feel like you deserve God’s Grace

But then after a while, you realize the praises that come forward,

Will be the result of your terrible pain, sickness, and disease;

And then realize you’ve accomplished your rewards.

Sometimes it’s not easy, no not easy,

But like everything a new creation has been made,

When all your pain is turned to “GAIN”.

The Art of Wellness in Recovery

Am I recovered, you may ask,

Why can’t I get this under control?

Am I under a curse or a darkened cloud,

Or can the light even shine on me;

Am I weak and lazy because I struggle with more things,

Or am I stronger and faithful because I’m down on my knees;

Yes, the road to Christianity is a hard road to take,

But if I keep on pushing forward with my Higher Power,

What an amazing person that He creates.

Never sell yourself short or put yourself down,

Because my Higher Power who can be yours also

Can show you true self that lies within you,

That He doesn’t want the awesome person you are,

To hide behind the trees but shine like the stars.
