Should Central State Hospital be preserved and Why?
I am writing a story about efforts to preserve Central State Hospital in Milledgeville for my magazine, "Lake Oconee Living." I read "How to Successfully Restore a State Hospital Cemetery" by Larry Fricks for the Georgia Consumer Council and was moved by the insights I found there.
I am looking for consumers with a connection to Central State Hospital who would be willing to speak with me about their experiences and hopes for the future of this institution. I am asking the question: "Should Central State Hospital be preserved and Why?" I would appreciate feedback from mental health consumers most affected by Central State Hospital's past and future.
