Greetings Certified Peer Specialists:
The Georgia Mental Health Consumer Network will once again provide a Peer Support Suite (PSS) for consumers attending the 19th Annual Consumer Conference, Resiliency: Moving Forward with Recovery and Wellness, at St. Simons Island, Georgia. Last year consumers reported that the PSS served a valuable purpose for those needing support. Once again we will staff the PSS with Certified Peer Specialists providing around the clock peer support, in three (3) hour shifts, for those attending the Annual Conference. If you will be attending the conference, this letter is an invitation for you to volunteer your services in supporting others in the peer support suite.
