In order to provide simplified access to DHR services, Commissioner Walker has asked the DHR Office of Constituent Services to be the clearing house for calls from people who have come to Georgia to escape Hurricane Katrina and need assistance.

If you receive calls from people displaced by the Hurricane and cannot provide the assistance they need, please refer them to DHR Constituent Services at 404-651-6316.  Constituent Services will refer callers primarily to local DFCS offices and to other resources as appropriate.
