2008 Walk of HEROes (Helping to Enable Recovery & Opportunity)

Foundation's Kick-off event for the 2008 Walk of HEROes, benefiting
DeKalb Community Service Board 's mental health, developmental
disabilities and addiction services. The Kick-off event will be held on
Monday, May 12, 2008 at 5 p.m. at the E.L. Richardson Health Center,
2nd Floor, Bohan Auditorium, 445 Winn Way, Decatur, GA 30030. RSVP to

Hundreds of people will gather in downtown Decatur on Saturday, June 28
to participate in the 2008 Walk of HEROes, a fund-raising and awareness
event to benefit mental health, developmental disabilities and addiction
services in DeKalb County. This year, the DeKalb Community Service Board
(CSB) will serve over 10,000 people who have severe and persistent
mental illness, developmental disabilities and substance addictions.
Funds raised through the 5K Walk of HEROes are dedicated exclusively to
the DeKalb CSB's comprehensive mental health, developmental disabilities
and addiction programs.
